children 18 mos- 6 yrs, Angel Care may foster a childs spirit and
empower them to become independent, socially connected and have a
greater self worth.

Admissions
Angel
Care seeks to enroll children who are well adjusted and highly
motivated, from families who are supportive of the Montessori
philosophy. Parents who are interested in enrolling for their children
fill out and submit an application, visit in a classroom with the
teacher, which is followed by an interview with the Head of Programs
and Admissions. Admission to the program is based upon child/parent
interest and commitment to the Montessori principles. Pre-testing is
not required.
All children
without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, or national and
ethnic origin are welcome at Angel Care Montessori.

How to Apply
Application Sequence:
1. Fill out and submit an Application Form.
2. Schedule an observational visit.
3. Complete the Registration Form. When a place is offered, the
child’s place is secured by the payment of a registration fee
that is applicable towards the yearly tuition.
4. Child and parent will be invited for a familiarization visit to the
school during the last weeks of the term prior to enrollment.
5. The invoice for fees is sent along with the acceptance letter. Fees
are paid prior to the start of the program year.

Enrollment
Applications
for enrollment are accepted throughout the year for either a
September/October or January placement. Applications for admission may
be submitted up to 2 years in advance of anticipated enrollment. Early
registration is encouraged to secure a position in the program of your
choice. A small non-refundable application fee accompanies the
application.

Open House Events
The
program generally has one open house per semester. These are usually
held on the third Saturday in the months of October and April from
10:00am to 12:30p.m.
The next upcoming open house is scheduled for Saturday October 24th, 2009

Tuition Info & Policies
All
parents are required to pay a $400.00 deposit (Registration Fee) to hold their
child’s place in the upcoming academic year. This deposit is due
at the time of registration. The deposit is part of the total tuition
but is non-refundable in case of withdrawal. The deposit is forfeited
in the event of withdrawal. Angel Care Montessori is a small
program with a limited number of spots. Enrollment of your child is
considered a commitment for the entire school year. As such, any
tuition monies paid can not be refunded and any outstanding tuition
balance is still owed. However, the enrollment may be cancelled in
writing by the parents without penalty (except forfeit of the $400.00
reservation fee) prior to 90 days before the start of the program year.
If enrollment is cancelled after said 90 days but prior to 60 days
before the start of the program year, one months tuition plus fees are
due. If enrollment is cancelled after said 60 days but prior to 30 days
before the start of the program year, two months tuition plus fees are
due. Cancellation less than 30 days from the start of the program year
will result in full tuition due.
Half of the year’s tuition and all fees are due by May 1st. The
remaining balance is due by July 1st. After August 1 obligation to pay
tuition fees for the full academic year is unconditional and no portion
will be refunded or canceled in the event of a child’s absence or
withdrawal from the program.
All children must be completely toilet-trained and self-sufficient in
taking care of their own toileting needs in order to attend the
preprimary class. In the event that a child does not begin school
because s/he is not toilet trained any tuition monies paid is not
refundable and outstanding tuition is still due.
Failure to make timely payments (prior to September 1) could result in
the loss of the place reserved for your child. Report Cards and
Progress Reports will not be distributed to any family with a past due
balance. Recommendations for students applying to other schools will
not be completed for any family with a past due balance.
In
addition to the tuition fees, an overtime charge of $1.00/minute is
added for any child not picked up at his/her regular dismissal time.

Financing Option
In
cases of financial hardship, payment arrangements may be made on an
individual situation basis, at the discretion of the administrator.
A late charge at the rate of $30.00 per day for each day that the
payment due remains outstanding will be assessed, in addition to a 1.2%
per month finance charge for all outstanding balances.

Billing Procedure
Timely
payments are the responsibility of the parents as stated in the
registration contract. Invoices are sent in the spring for the upcoming
school year. The school does not send monthly statements except for in
cases where payments have not been made and are past due. In this
instance, late fess will be assessed.

Termination of Service by School
Angel
Care Montessori reserves the right to reevaluate any child’s
continued participation in the program who has special needs that
cannot best be met by the program or that may be detrimental to the
health or progress of the other children. The school may, under these
circumstances, request withdrawal of the child from the program. The
school will recommend suitable alternatives that may better meet the
child’s needs. Unless the child is an immediate danger to himself
or to others, two weeks’ notice will be given should the Angel
Care Montessori request withdrawal of the child from the program.
Tuition monies paid is not refunded in the case of withdrawal or
dismissal and any outstanding tuition is still due.
If any outstanding payment is past due for a period of one week, your
child will not be allowed to be dropped off into the program until
payment is made and dismissal proceedings may begin.
All children must be completely toilet-trained and self-sufficient in
taking care of their own toileting needs in order to attend the
preprimary class. In the event that a child starts the program and is
not toilet trained the school will ask that the child remain home until
successfully having become toilet trained. Tuition monies paid is not
refunded in the case of a child who is not fully potty trained and any
outstanding tuition is still due. |
